In this class, young learners will be gently introduced to Hindi language through verbal interaction, song, story telling, pictures, and introducing some famous personalities and enlightening their contributions from various fields of films, writers, players etc.
- Class 1: • Intro to Hindi language by introducing each other in Hindi. • We will learn how to greet and say good bye in Hindi. • We learn to count numbers 1-5 in Hindi. • The first four vowels in Hindi will be introduced and the students will be encouraged to write them. • The children will listen to a story in Hindi and then the children will take turns to discuss the events, what they liked the most in the story etc.
- Class2: • A quick game to recapitulate the numbers and vowels taught in the previous class will be played. • We learn to describe one favorite thing (the child can bring a toy, book, dress etc). The child will be helped where ever they find difficulty in finding the correct words to express themselves. • We will learn the names of the first three days of the week in Hindi. • We learn to recite a Hindi poem/action song.
- Class3: • We recollect the days of the week taught in the previous class. • We learn to identify the next four vowels in Hindi and the students will be encouraged to write them. • We learn to tell a few action words in Hindi. • I will be showing a few colours and the children will be encouraged to name them in Hindi.
