Description

Class Experience

In this course, we will learn how to build webpages using the language of the internet, HTML or HyperText Markup Langauge. HTML is the language used to display content on a webpage, including the one you are looking at right now! Using a fun and easy example, we will build a beginner web page that uses different HTML commands (also known as tags), to put different elements like text, pictures, and even video. 

Children will learn the basics of Web Development. We will learn what is HTML, what are the tags in HTML, how can we create beautiful websites which we see daily on our own.

I love teaching programming using fun and interesting examples because it helps students go farther than learning hard to contextualize concepts. I am currently pursuing my engineering 3rd year in computer science & am a semifinalist in MOC-2018. I love coding & would like to share my passion with my class via teaching the concepts uniquely & in detailed.

No prior material before class. Teacher will provide all the material needed for the kids preparation.

There is no external source required

The learning goal is to teach students learn how to make a simple website using HTML.

Kids will be given simple websites building in homework and they will have to complete it. Teacher and kids will have a good amount of discussion and doubts clarification.

The progress will be assessed daily in the class.
