Preschool Yoga will be taught in a structured manner where the student will learn how to practice yoga and incorporate play into the practice. The class will begin with meditation and breathing practices. From breathing to meditation we will move into warm-up poses and standing poses, once the students are warmed up and stretched we will begin to end class with cool-down stretching and breathing. In class, I will teach Vinyasa Yoga, Meditation, and Pranayama breathing in each class. The Sanskrit names for each pose will be child-friendly and in-play form, ( ex. tree pose, bumble bee breath) animal, and story-themed. My teaching is patient and fun. I allow each student to express themselves. Also, asking questions is highly encouraged.
Students will learn the practice of yoga in a fun and playful way. In each class, we will learn new poses and how the student can practice yoga on and off the mat.
